New REDAWN Webinar 3: Energy recovery potential, economic, social and environmental impacts

Join us for a lively discussion in the free webinar exploring the potential for energy recovery in water networks.  

 

Our third event will present the achievements regarding energy recovery in the EU Atlantic Area water sector and will demonstrate the substantial potential for micro-hydropower (MHP) to generate clean energy and contribute to improving the sustainability of the EU’s water sector. Using a series of case studies in water distribution and irrigation networks, the potential economic, social and environmental impacts and challenges to implementing this in the EU will be explored. 

The session will be led by Dr. Helena M. Ramos, (University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior Técnico)
