This course discusses the concepts, technologies, systems and protocols of MicroHydro Energy Recovery in water networks.

Learn about Pump as Turbines (PATS), pressure control strategies as well as the opportunities and benefits of energy recovery in water networks.

Unit 1 - Pressure Control with Energy Production by PAT (Pump as Turbine) in Water Supply Networks

Unit 2 - Lifecycle of a PUMP AS TURBINE

Unit 3 - PAT Reliability - focus on cavitation and erosion

Unit 4 - Pressure Control with Energy Production by PAT in Water Networks

Unit 5 - Energy recovery with PATs

Unit 6 - Fluid Mechanics and Turbine Design
